Full Size Flyable Wooden Lockheed Recreations?

Those with the desire and the wherewithal to contemplate owning one of the single engine wooden Lockheeds i.e. Vega, Air Express, Explorer, Sirius, Altair or Orion are able to do so thanks to the pioneering work of John Oder. Over many years, John diligently accumulated the most comprehensive collection of drawings of these types. Although John is no longer in the business of building wooden Lockheeds, his collection of drawings survives thanks to people who appreciate their value.

Enthusiasts of the marque will be aware that the Vega belonging to Kermit Weeks is currently being rebuilt by JKE Works Inc in Florida, USA. JKE Works, Inc. is well placed to undertake restorations and recreations having collected a data set which includes John Oder's collection of drawings along with hundreds more acquired from other sources.
