Lockheed Super Constellation VH-EAM Southern Spray. VH-EAM was the first Qantas Super Constellation to be fitted with weather radar so it is possible that this photo was taken soon after the modification in January 1957. The Super Constellation in the background appears to be VH-EAK which was not fitted with weather radar until April 1957. Also in the background at Mascot is DH.84 Dragon VH-AGC which was owned by Adastra Airways from August 1956 to September 1958. Behind the Dragon is an RAAF Dakota.Picture: SLNSW
