Lockheed Super Constellation VH-EAG Southern Constellation photographed from the old control tower at Brisbane Eagle Farm. VH-EAG was modified with weather radar in October 1957 and operated its last Qantas service in July 1960 so the photo would have been taken in that period. Visible at the TAA terminal in the left background are two Viscounts. In the right background is a DC-6B and a Convair outside the terminal which has already been rebranded ANSETT-ANA following Ansett's takeover of ANA, coincidentally also in October 1957.
