Altair
VH-USB Lady Southern Cross undergoing repairs at Mascot on or
about 13 September 1934 after the landing gear was twisted in an aborted
take-off at Perth. While his engineers wear overalls, Smithy's only
concession is to remove the jacket from his three piece suit! The tail
visible in the background belongs to Smithy's Percival Gull Four VH-CKS.
