The
Pratt & Whitney engines indicate that this Hudson is the former
VH-BIH which was delivered to the Israeli Air Force in November 1948.
Believed to have been allocated the IAF serial number 2601, the aircraft
crashed in Israel on 5 March 1949 and was subsequently written off.
