History:

APR42 The Record card for this aeroplane states that it was "Totally destroyed Moresby" on 29APR42. It is reported elsewhere that the aircraft crashed the previous day 28APR42 with the loss of PO Clarke and all crew. A report in the AHSA Journal of February 1963 states that the wing tips and rear fuselage section were still located off the northern end of the centre runway and that part of the Hudson's nose cone had been used in a fire training mockup.
