The Thai Royal Standard which was presented to Captain Jock Ross along with a silver cigarette case. The symbol is known as The Garuda. It is uncertain if this flag was the one that would have been flown from the aircraft. The flag is now held by Capt Ross's daughter. The lower photograph shows the King and Queen of Thailand disembarking from Electra VH-ECA Pacific Electra at Wellington, NZ. Note that the Royal crest appears on the aircraft aft of the door.
