The Flight Progress Report for the benefit passengers on Constellation VH-EAA Ross Smith which was operating Qantas Flight EM502-263 from Djakarta to Darwin on Friday 8 December 1950. This flight was scheduled to depart Djakarta at 1120 hours local and arrive in Darwin at 2015 hours local. The flight appears to have been on schedule which is remarkable considering that the aircraft had departed from London on the Tuesday morning. The document bears the signatures of Captain R.F. Uren and Navigation Officer H.A. Seymour. The authentic antique patina was achieved by storing the document under a piece of machinery in a shed for seventy years! Source: Roger McDonald Collection
