The
Lady Southern Cross was placed on the British Register as G-ADUS
on 7 October 1935. This photograph was taken at Croydon three days
later on 10 October. The reversed tailwheel suggests that the aeroplane
has just been pushed backwards out of the hangar. Admirers are beginning
to gravitate towards the aeroplane.
