The caption on the reverse reads:

“The specially built Lockheed Sirius plane in which George Hutchinson will attempt to beat Lindy’s time to Paris. Burbank, Calif...With every line bespeaking of grace, power and endurance this Lockheed Sirius plane is shown before going aloft on it’s first test flight. George Hutchinson, famous American ace, intends using the ‘Flying Gas-tank’ in an effort to beat Col. Lindbergh’s time from New York to Paris.” (July 21, 1930)
